David Haig

David is one of New Zealand's leading furniture makers, with 21 years' professional experience. He is based in Cable Bay, near the town of Nelson, and his clientele extends from Hong Kong to Geneva to New York. His award-winning work is characterized by graceful use of steam-bent, curvilinear forms. David's teaching experience includes four years at the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology as instructor for the Visual Arts Department's Furniture Design course.
