David worked as a mechanical engineer for many years until one day he realized that he wanted something more from his labors.  He wanted to use his hands and heart as well as his head, so he turned to woodworking.   After many ladder-backs and other simple woodworking he turned to Windsor chairs.  For the past twenty-five years his concentration has been on what David thinks of as “the Stradivarius of chairs”.
