Beeken Parsons is a durable furniture making partnership that spans 23 years. Their workshop is located at Shelburne Farms in Shelburne, Vermont where they design and make furniture to order for residential and institutional clients, particularly college libraries. Chairs are a special interest. Bruce Beeken and Jeff Parsons lead a business that has a keen focus on sustainable forest management and a creative utilization of local wood and craftsmanship. Their work begins with the tree or log and involves relationships with loggers, sawmillers, kiln operators and manufacturers in their region.  Beneath it all is an approach to furniture that integrates design with material, process and people.
